Pastor Joe & Julie Overholt
Pastors Joe and Julie met while attending the same church as teenagers, and after dating for three years married October 19, 1985. Their son Joe was born in 1987, followed a year a twelve days later by their daughter Jeannette. Pastor Joe worked in the corporate arena for 20 years prior to full time ministry. Pastor Julie homeschooled their two children until they reached high school, then they were enrolled into public school. Pastor Julie also worked as a violin instructor having been trained classically at Kent State University, teaching children and adults, both at home and at a studio, in the art of playing the violin.
Pastors Joe and Julie became very active in their local church after they were married. Pastor Julie, being a concert violinist, served on various praise and worship teams, and served as choir director leading the choir to sing as part of a group choir in the performance of the “Young Messiah” tour. Pastor Joe served as usher, sound, and visitation team member. Together they served by ministering to the children in nursery, and children’s church departments.
In 1990, they left their home church to help a pastor pioneer a church in Kenmore, Ohio. While they were not on paid staff, they served their pastor and church in various capacities. They ministered in leading praise and worship, door greeting, children’s ministry, ushering, hospital visitation, visitor follow-up visitation, and their passion as youth pastors. It was during this time the Lord Jesus began revealing to them that they were to attend Rhema Bible Training Center to further their ministerial training. They resigned from their responsibilities, to prepare for their move to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
In 1994, Pastors Joe and Julie resigned their secular jobs, sold their house in Akron, Ohio, and moved their two children, household, and their dog to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to follow God’s plan for their lives. The Lord proved Himself faithful throughout their schooling at Rhema Bible Training Center, and they both graduated in 1996. It was during their second year of bible school that the Lord Jesus revealed to them that they were to pioneer a church in Massillon, Ohio. After graduation, they moved back to Ohio, and pioneered Church on the Move in Massillon, Ohio.
Pastors Joe and Julie are licensed and ordained both through Rhema Ministerial Association International, and through Faith Christian Fellowship International Church, Inc. They continue to fulfill their passion by pouring their lives into the church family, and the School of Ministry, of Church on the Move.
| Rev. Dave & Wanda Furden
Rev. Dave was born in Canton, Ohio, and Wanda was born in Ironton, Ohio.
Dave and Wanda attended Trinity Gospel Temple for 23 years. Wanda served by working in the church office, and she also drove the van for the daycare center. Both Dave and Wanda sang in the church choir.
Rev. Dave served in various ministries. Rev. Dave taught Sunday school, and was a teacher and lay minister. He also served as Head Usher, and was a co-leader of the home and hospital visitation team. Rev. Dave also served as counselor to the teen camp ministries.
In 2004, in answering the call of God on their lives, they left their church to begin attending Church on the Move. Once becoming members, they immediately got involved with the helps ministry of Church on the Move. Rev. Dave enrolled in the School of Ministry to be trained and equipped in fulfilling his dream of becoming a licensed minister of the gospel. While attending School of Ministry, Rev. Dave and Wanda became the praise and worship leaders for Church on the Move.
They were both asked to join the Elders staff in assisting Pastors Joe and Julie Overholt in the spiritual leadership for the church family of Church on the Move, where they faithfully continue to serve both their pastors and their church.
Rev. Dave graduated from School of Ministry in June of 2009, and on February 21, 2010 became a licensed minister by Church on the Move. He then applied for and received his state licensing through the state of Ohio. Rev. Dave serves in the area of church administration and finance. He also leads the Men’s Fellowship for Church on the Move. His responsibilities also include pulpit ministry on Wednesday evening services, and conducting the membership/New believer’s classes for Church on the Move. Rev. Dave is currently working towards his ordination. |
Tim & Natalie McCleskey
Tim, a native of Canton, Ohio attained a baseball scholarship after high school to Youngstown State where he attended for two years. With a praying mama on his side, Tim accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at age 20 and transferred to Nyack (Christian) College, where his desire to seek the truths of the Bible and of his new found faith grew, as well as his desire to teach and share the gospel with others. It is at Nyack where Tim also began learning to play guitar. During college he had the opportunity to travel to France with Athletes In Action (A ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ) to play baseball while ministering the gospel of Christ. He was part of the Bronx Gospel Team (an outreach team), coached Baseball and Softball Teams and also gained his degree in Secondary Education, Social Studies at Nyack.
Natalie, raised in London, England as a missionary/pastor’s kid accepted the Lord at an early age in a meeting where Pastor Willie George (Pastor of “Church on the Move” Broken Arrow) and her parents were co-leading the children’s ministry at a Kenneth Copeland conference in England. Natalie was always involved in various aspects of ministry at her church (Commonwealth Christian Fellowship) and her love for missions work developed as a teenager while on many short term missions’ trips to The Czech Republic and to India. She attended Youth With A Mission’s Discipleship Training Program in LA where she had further opportunity to minister in San Francisco, Mexico and Brazil. Natalie continued her pursuit of missionary training at Nyack College where she was also part of the college’s Bronx Gospel Team, dance teams and various theatre productions, a mission trip to Jamaica and interning at various urban Christian performing arts summer camps. Natalie also earned a degree in Social Science & Community Development from Nyack.
Needless to say, while at Nyack College Tim and Natalie also gained one another as best friend. During a school break while visiting Tim’s home, the two were introduced to COTM by a family friend and became members in 2003. They were married by Pastors Joe and Julie a year later.
The McCleskey’s returned to NY where they lived for 2 years in the Bronx. Tim taught as a substitute teacher and Natalie worked as the program director for their church’s afterschool and summer camp program, where Tim also worked as “Athletic Director”. They also ran the Children’s Ministry at their church “Faith Covenant” and were involved in the music ministry there. Tim and Natalie returned to Ohio with the birth of their son, Mattai, in 2006 and unquestionably returned to their COTM family. They also have a daughter now, Olivia, born in 2010. Tim is currently a high school teacher at Choices (Canton City School’s alternative education program) and JV baseball coach for Timken High School. Natalie is enjoying being able to stay home teaching their children in their early years. They are both excited and passionate about the work they are doing in the Youth and Praise & Worship Ministries here at COTM.

Corrina Gowins Bio
Corrina was born and raised in Massillon, Ohio. Corrina and her family were part of the founding members of Church on the Move, being faithful from the very start of our fellowship. Corrina has served in several capacities within the helps ministry at Church on the Move. She has ministered in teaching the toddlers, Kids on the Move, helping out in the sound booth, and currently is involved in the nursery, and continues to minister in the children’s department by teaching and through the puppet ministry. Corrina is also a vital part of our prayer team, and serves the pastors and church with others who faithfully pray over our church every week.
Corrina worked with Pastor Joe & Julie, as the Lord directed them to work with David Ingles, to pioneer the Oasis Network WOFN 88.7 FM. Corrina was very influential in the start-up and helping to run the office at WOFN. It was at the radio station that the Lord began to reveal to Corrina that she was to work hand and hand with pastors Joe and Julie and serve Church on the Move as the church secretary. She resigned her position with WOFN, and since 2003, Corrina has blessed Church on the Move by faithfully serving as our church secretary.
Corrina is celebrating 21 years of marriage to her loving husband Brett, and together they raised their wonderful daughter Paige. Their family continues to be a blessing to Church on the Move. As members of Church on the Move, or the community, when you contact the office you will be greeted by the warm, caring, and friendly voice of Corrina Gowins.
